About Eco Holz Residence

What we do

Eco Holz Residence GmbH is a Vienna-based residential developer. We find land, develop residential concepts, manage permitting, and deliver turnkey homes — working with a consistent production partner and keeping the process manageable for everyone involved.

Our focus is on single-family homes and small multi-unit schemes in the Vienna metropolitan area and Lower Austria. We work project by project, self-financing each development and structuring external participation on a transparent, case-by-case basis.

How we build

We build using factory-made engineered timber structures produced by a Romanian specialist with over ten years of experience in timber construction. The system covers KVH (C24 structural timber), BSH (glulam), and CLT (cross-laminated timber) — all precision-cut and numbered at the factory before delivery to site.

The structural frame of a single-family home typically goes up in 6 to 12 days on site. That short structural phase, combined with factory-controlled quality, gives us meaningful predictability over both cost and programme — and results in homes that are thermally efficient, dimensionally precise, and built to last.

Our production partner holds FSC certification and has capacity for up to 2,000 m² of prefabricated structures per month, giving us flexibility on timing as the pipeline grows.

Our approach

We build every project the same way: with a clear plan, a reliable production partner, and honest communication with everyone involved. Scope is documented from the start, changes are managed at agreed decision points, and progress is communicated at each milestone.

We co-invest in every project we develop — our capital, our exposure, our responsibility to deliver. That alignment is the basis for how we work with investors and landowners alike.

Current work

Two single-family homes are currently under construction in Unterwaltersdorf, Lower Austria, with handover scheduled for October 2026. Further sites are under assessment across the Vienna metropolitan area and Lower Austria.
